Relay Output Module

The Harding Relay Output Module (IOM2111) is an addressable device that is a means of connecting to and controlling building functions such as electromagnetic door holders, dampers, motors, elevators and disconnects from the main Harding fire control system.

Distributed Module Placement

The AC-100 cabinetry facilitates the placement of ALM modules, ESU or Fiberoptic switches out at point of use. This eliminates long SLC or NAC wiring runs back to a central control panel.

Highly Survivable

Whether protecting a single floor or a an entire campus building, a single remote ALM module will continue to process local events in the event of a network communication failure. In addition, because of it’s isolation, the module will never go down for routine system maintenance in other sections of the system.

Single or multiple initiating points on the Harding fire control are assigned to specific IOM2111 modules that may be connected anywhere on the SLC. When an event is generated by an initiating device, the pre-programmed assignment automatically fires the Form C dry contacts located on the IOM2111 effecting a change in status to the attached building control device(s).

The contractor shall furnish and install, where indicated on the plans, addressable interface devices for the monitoring, supervision and control of programmable relays connected to the Fire Alarm control. The devices shall act as an interface between the Fire Alarm control and building functions such as electromagnetic door holders, dampers, motors, elevators and disconnects and give the Fire Alarm the ability to change the state of the attached building control functions during an emergency condition. The addressable interface device shall communicate to the main fire control via the addressable circuit. The addressable interface device must be UL listed and UL listed as compatible with Harding network fire controls. The addressable interface device shall be Harding part number IOM2111.
